Apartheid Museum and Soweto Tour

On this Day tour, you get the opportunity to visit a city within a city. Accompanied by Hoza Africa Tour guides, we will take you through Soweto and all its main attractions such as the National Football Stadium, where the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 Soccer World Cup was held and Vilakazi Street where Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu had once lived!

We will also drive through the shanty towns where you will be able to explore their living environment and don’t forget about the Soweto Towers! This tour includes a lot more sightings in Soweto. Not only that, we will also stop at the famous Apartheid Museum where you get to explore and learn about the struggle that South Africa went through during a decade of Apartheid.

The museum is a guiding light of hope presenting the world how South Africa is coming to terms with its oppressive past and working towards a better future.

During this tour, we will stop for lunch and an opportunity for you to shop for souvenirs.
